You love the idea of curtain bangs.
And you’re so excited when you do them because it frames your face perfectly and adds a nice soft touch to your face.
You love the way it stands.
But after a while, you notice that your curtain bangs fall flat and your hair looks almost normal again.
You run away from wind or the slightest humidity because you know your bangs won’t be able to take it.
You can’t understand how others get to make their curtain bangs last all day.
But don’t worry!
In this post, I’ll cover some quick and easy ways to make curtain bangs last all day!

1. Style your bangs properly
The first step to make sure that your curtain bangs last all day, you need to style it in a way that helps the bangs stay intact.
First, take your bangs in the front with a round brush and roll the brush back slowly while pulling it downwards.
Make sure you have a hairdryer over the brush with the hair so that you’re applying the heat evenly to all the bangs.
This will give your curtain bangs a lasting shape.
If you want better results, sleep with large velcro rollers around your bangs at night – they will hold better.
If you can’t leave it in all night, then do it first thing in the morning and keep the roller in till you finish your morning routine.
Pull all your curtain bangs together in front of your face and roll them in a large velcro roller. Make sure you are rolling the roller toward your face.
Before removing the roller, use a hairdryer to make sure the bangs are in place.
If you don’t have a blowdryer or velcro rollers, then you can use a hair straightener and curve the bangs outward to get the curtain bangs to curl around your face.
2. Use a hairspray
To make sure that your curtain bangs last all day, you can use a strong-hold hairspray that also smells good.
I highly recommend the Kenra Maximum hold hairspray.
Make sure that you’re applying the hairspray to clean hair that is super bone dry.
If you apply hairspray to your hair while it’s wet, it’s not going to hold for long. Your bangs need to be dry.
Hold the hairspray at least 15 cm (half a foot) away from your bangs when you’re applying it. And move the hairspray around so that it coats the bangs evenly.
If you apply the hairspray too close to your bangs, it will get sticky and some parts will be more firm – the hairspray won’t apply evenly.
That’s it! Now your curtain bangs will remain in place all day and won’t fall flat.
3. Get shorter bangs
If your hair is too long, then the weight of the hair will prevent the curtain bangs from staying in place for too long.
Eventually, it will fall flat due to the weight of the hair.
So, my suggestion is to get shorter bangs if you are trying the above methods and it’s still not holding.
I recommend cutting your bangs every 6 weeks to make sure that it doesn’t grow too long and become too heavy.
I highly recommend watching this video by Brad Mondo that teaches you how to style your curtain bangs the best way.
